isaac sevier is Founding Co-Director of the People's Utilities Commons. They work to develop and sustain state and national strategies that direct U.S. energy and utility systems to repair harm from racist policies and investments, democratize ownership and benefits, and eliminate toxic emissions. With experiences including national network development, state policy advocacy, finance, and engineering, and as a first-generation American and college graduate, isaac brings a diverse range of perspectives to their work. Originally from Oklahoma, isaac holds engineering degrees from the University of Tulsa and Stanford University. They live on unceded Ramaytush Ohlone land in San Francisco.
